What is hsieh ling-ling?

Hsieh Ling-ling is a retired Taiwanese professional tennis player who was active in the 1970s and 1980s. She was born on November 6, 1959 in Taipei, Taiwan.

Hsieh Ling-ling achieved her highest singles ranking of No. 34 in the world in October 1979. She was known for her powerful serve and aggressive style of play. She reached the fourth round of the US Open in 1975 and the quarterfinals of the Australian Open in 1979.

In addition to her singles success, Hsieh Ling-ling also had a successful doubles career, winning two WTA doubles titles and reaching a career-high doubles ranking of No. 17 in the world.

After retiring from professional tennis, Hsieh Ling-ling became a tennis coach and is now actively involved in promoting tennis in Taiwan.
